Carlington is a residential neighbourhood in the city of Ottawa. The houses built in the time period immediately following World War II were meant for returning veterans. Carlington, a quiet community located south of Carling Ave, and east of Clyde. To the west is Fisher avenue and the southern border is marked by the bike path that cuts through Experimental Farm agricultural lands. Shopping, restaurants and other amenities are provided on Merivale Road, which cuts diagonally through the community. Several recreation areas complement the green spaces, including bike paths, off leash parks and the dome toboggan hill.

Central Park is one of Ottawa’s newest neighbourhoods. Built by Ashcroft Homes, it is located across Merivale Road from the Central Experimental Farm, just north of Baseline Road. Central Park provides a wide variety of homes: there are townhomes, semi-detached, and single homes, as well as a retirement home and condo tower.

Central park offers a great bicycle path, and easy access to public transit. Very quiet streets with no through traffic, a variety of local parks, including our largest park:  Celebration Park which boasts a soccer pitch, play structure, tennis courts, pond, Community Association Ice Rink, and walking trails.
